We painted this splendid three-bedroom apartment on Westbourne Terrace in Westminster. The project involved painting and decorating the reception room, dining room, kitchen, hallways, three bedrooms, and gym.
When the owners first contacted our team, they were keen to refresh their home with a new look – they wanted to preserve the home’s abundant character and charm of their period home but wanted a modern feel. As a result, we suggested a neutral colour palette throughout the property, creating a sense of connectedness throughout the home while highlighting the property’s period features.
The apartment entrance leads to the reception room, dining room, and kitchen – all of which share exquisite decorative mouldings. We painted the kitchen and dining room in ‘Strong White’ by Farrow & Ball to add brightness and emphasise the scale of the rooms. The reception room is painted in ‘Oxford Stone’ by Farrow & Ball, creating a subtle transition between these rooms. Upstairs, the two main bedrooms feature stunning ceiling fresco and neutrally painted walls. The third bedroom is covered with lovely decorative wallpaper and connects to the final room in the house, which currently serves as a gym.
