The East Wing at Twickenham Stadium is an exclusive hospitality area designed to offer guests an upscale dining/lounge experience during rugby matches and private events.
Our painters and decorators had the pleasure of painting various areas in The East Wing. The scope of works included re-decorating the entrance lobby, multiple dining areas and a large central bar.
The project’s goal was to refresh the areas and keep the space looking fresh for guests and visitors. With a simple refresher in mind, our client decided to keep all paint colours the same and limited the work to completing some minor repairs and preparation work and re-painting the various areas.
Since The East Wing was in continuous use, one of the key requirements was to complete the project out-of-hours. As a result, we scheduled to complete each separate section of the space in single nights to ensure the space could remain fully functional while we carried out the decorating work.
The most challenging aspect of the project was the intricate ceiling panelling. The ornate nature of the panelling demanded a high level of precision and skill, as even a small mistake could be highly noticeable. Our team, understanding the importance of this task, meticulously prepared and hand-brushed the overhead panelling to ensure a flawless finish.
Overall, the project was a massive success. We completed the painting and decorating to a high standard and on schedule. Our client was equally thrilled with the quality of the finish.
