We painted this stunning three-bedroom apartment (occupying the two top floors of a Victorian house) on Redbourne Avenue in Finchley. The painting and decorating works involved renovating the entrance, hallways, living room, kitchen, and three bedrooms.
When the owners initially contacted our team, they had a clear goal for redecorating their home; to create a modern and light-filled interior. However, they were unsure which paint colours would achieve this goal. We proposed a colour palette combining reds, yellows, and limewash paints to create a truly captivating space.
We painted the open-plan kitchen, dining and living room in ‘Red Earth’ by Farrow and Ball, giving the room abundant character and a striking look. Next to this room is the kitchen, painted this room in ‘Orange Coloured White’, helping to differentiate the two spaces from one another. The final room on the first floor is the study, finished in limewashed ‘Carmine’ from Bauwerk, which beautifully compliments the living room.
Upstairs are the three bedrooms. We painted the first bedroom in a soothing pistachio green, giving the room a calming look and feel. The second bedroom is painted in a soft marigold yellow, giving the room a perfectly serene, adding a welcoming look to the room. We painted the third bedroom in ‘Orangery’ by Farrow and Ball, giving the rooms lots of light and focus.
