We painted this lovely apartment housed within a Grade II listed garden square in South Kensington. The work involved painting the entrance hallway, living room, kitchen, and bedroom.
The apartment had not been renovated for decades and required complete refurbishment. As a result, one of the main challenges was coordinating the refurbishment with the various trades on-site.
The client was keen to preserve the historical features within the space whilst creating a modern aesthetic. Therefore, we suggested combing a neutral colour palette with grey wallpaper to achieve this look.
We wallpapered the entrance to the apartment with grey textured wallpaper to make the space look instantly inviting and cosy. The hallway leads to the living room, painted in ‘Dimpse’ by Farrow & Ball, giving the room a calming look and feel whilst accentuating the fine Victorian cornice. We wallpapered the bedroom with the same wallpaper as the hallway creating a harmonious interior.
