Our painters and decorators completed commercial decorating for the OLR Tattoo Shop on Old London Road in Kingston Upon Thames.
The project was part of a larger refurbishment framework of the entire store. The project aimed to create an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere in the tattoo shop.
Our team was responsible for painting and decorating the following areas:
- Entrance and staircases
- Reception and waiting rooms
- Tattoo studios
- Toilets
- Staff kitchen
The shop’s colour scheme, a unique combination of black and gold, was a key element in creating an elegant and striking aesthetic, enhancing the exclusive feel of the tattoo parlour.
During the project, one of the biggest challenges we faced was working alongside other tradespeople and completing other refurbishment tasks. To ensure smooth progress, we implemented:
- A clear, well-coordinated project schedule to minimize disruptions.
- Protective measures to safeguard surfaces and prevent damage from other trades.
Before applying the paint, our team meticulously prepared all surfaces:
- Protected floors and cleaned all walls, ceilings, and skirting boards.
- Filled any imperfections on walls and surfaces.
- Sanded down all areas to ensure smooth finishes.
- Primed the walls and ceilings for optimal paint application.
The project was completed on time within the designated 3-week schedule. Our careful preparation and efficient execution resulted in a visually stunning, high-quality finish that reflects the luxurious branding of OLR Tattoos.
