Oita is a contemporary Japanese restaurant located in Soho, Central London.
When Oita reached out to our team, they were keen to revamp their restaurant and wanted us to help them create an eye-catching space with a sophisticated and intimate ambience. With the help of our paint experts, the owners decided to combine a dark colour palette with flashes of bright colours (such as the abundant green plants and clever lighting throughout the restaurant) to give the interior a bold contrast.
As with any commercial property in constant use, scheduling the work to minimise disruption to the business was a challenge. As a result, we completed the work out of hours to ensure the restaurant was usable while the work took place.
We painted the walls and the various framing elements in ‘Pitch Black’ by Farrow & Ball. It’s the purest black available from Farrow & Ball and works really well in the restaurant, giving the space an all-important private feel.
