We painted this Grade-II listed Victorian villa on Oakfield Road in Finsbury Park. The project scope involved painting and decorating the hallway, living room, kitchen, and two bedrooms.
The elegant white stucco and stock brick facade set the tone for the interior, characterised by unique paint colours, original period features, and an extraordinary level of attention to detail.
Inside, the apartment impresses with a bright hallway, white-washed walls, and tall ceilings. The living area showcases arched sash windows, restored wall panelling, cornicing, and bespoke parquet flooring. The kitchen, separated by a Crittall door, is painted in the bespoke shade “Hamish in Barnsbury” and contrasts with marble surfaces. Two light-filled double bedrooms offer oak wardrobes and brass fixtures. The main bedroom boasts west-facing sunlight, while the second bedroom is painted in a calming blue.
