Our team had the pleasure of painting this grand stucco-fronted Victorian townhouse located on Lonsdale Road in Barnes. The property boasts several period features, including tall ceilings, authentic decorative cornice, wood panelling, and original oak flooring.
We painted the entire property, including three bedrooms, a family room, a reception rooms, a study, a kitchen, and a dining area.
The owners reached out to our team to help renew the interior of their house with a fresh coat of paint. The goal was to create an inviting and contemporary interior, and we used a combination of neutral and bold hues to achieve this effect.
On the lower ground floor, we kept the colour scheme for the dining room, kitchen, and family room the same by painting the wood panelling in ‘Pavilion Gray’ by Farrow & Ball and the rest of the walls and ceilings in ‘All White by Farrow & Ball. The effect is a soft and balanced looking interior. On the ground floor, we painted the reception room in ‘Hague Blue’ by Farrow & Ball to create an eye-catching room with a bold look and feel. Upstairs, we painted the bedrooms in varying shades of blue, consisting of ‘Parma Grey’, ‘Lulworth Blue’, ‘Skylight’ by Farrow & Ball – the resut is three unique bedrooms, each with the same calming feel.
