Our painters and decorators in Dulwich had the pleasure of completing various painting works for the Harris Boys’ Academy in East Dulwich.
The scope of works involved a high-level ceiling repair and painting in the main reception area and high-level metal beam repair and re-decoration in the sports hall area. We completed the project in 5 days with 4 operatives assigned to complete the work.
The project was relatively straightforward. However, the biggest challenge was access. For painting the ceiling in the main reception area, we supplied a 21M spider lift to allow access to the ceiling. And for the main sports hall area, we provided a scaffold tower.
We meticulously repaired the ceiling in the main reception area by filling, sanding, and stain-blocking before applying two coats of paint. This attention to detail ensured a flawless finish.
We also repaired the metal beams for the sports hall area before repainting them with specialist fireproof paint. In addition, we matched the paint colour used here to the colour of the existing areas.
Our team’s attention to detail ensured the project’s success. All works were completed on time and to a high standard, leaving our client thrilled with the final result.
