Gabriela Hearst is a luxury American brand that specialises in the design and manufacture of handbags and ready-to-wear fashion items. We were tasked with painting and decorating Gabriela Hearst’s flagship store in Mayfair. The project included renovating the ground floor, first shop floor, and backrooms.
The fashion store is housed in a late 19th-century building, giving the space an abundance of character and inherited charm. Gabriela Hearst wanted to create a stylish interior representing an evolution of design rather than a deviation from the brand’s store in New York.
We painted the store with a neutral colour palette, whereby the store benefits from neutral tones and soft hues throughout the 2,000 square feet store. As a result, the mood is light, serene, and comfortable – reflecting Gabriela Hearst’s essence for understated elegance.
