We painted this beautiful one-bedroom apartment located on East Dulwich Road in Dulwich. The apartment formed part of an immaculate Victorian house built in the 1880s. The project involved painting and decorating the entrance, halls, living room, kitchen, and bedroom.
The owner recently purchased the flat and was keen to put his stamp on the place. He wanted the home to feel bright and modern while highlighting the home’s Victorian period features, such as the wood panelling and intricate cornicing. As a result, he decided to use a neutral colour scheme to achieve this look.
The entire apartment has been painted in ‘Wevet’ by Farrow & Ball. As you enter the flat, a short hallway leads to the open-plan kitchen and living area; these rooms are complete with high ceilings with period cornicing and smart wooden panelling to complement the paintwork. Similarly, the bedroom is painted in white to maintain the peaceful ambience of the apartment.
