We had the pleasure of renovating this wonderful Victorian Villa located on Broomfield Road in Surbiton. The scope of work involved painting the entire home, including the entrance, staircases, living room, kitchen, and five bedrooms.
When the homeowners first purchased the property, it was very dated and needed a new lease of life. The client was keen to create a contemporary look within the house while preserving the home’s period features. We suggested combing neutrals, blues, and greys to achieve this goal.
We painted the entrance in ‘Strong White’ by Farrow & Ball to create a bright and inviting feel, meanwhile highlighting the Victorian cornice. The entrance leads to the living room, with the walls painted in ‘Stiffkey Blue’ to bring a sense of elegance and sophistication to the room. Also, the kitchen is painted in ‘Strong White’ by Farrow & Ball, creating a continuous colour palette on the ground floor. Upstairs, each of the bedrooms has been painted in varying shades of blue, giving each bedroom a calming and unique look and feel.
